Story Garden
Your child will practise the creative choices that matter when making things with AI: developing an idea, connecting events and deciding how a story should end. A lost robot’s garden adventure gives them picture pieces to shape into their own story.
Your child will practise useful AI skills.
Your child will learn to make a story with a beginning, a problem and an ending.
You’ll read and play together, help with the controls and join the offline activity. Each lesson can be split into short sessions.
Instruction and sorting games are simplified simulations. Following a fixed sequence is different from an AI model learning patterns from examples.
Your child will learn through guided play.
Your child will work through three guided activities, then apply the skill to a fresh challenge. Feedback explains their choices and helps them try again.
- Choose who your story is about.
- Give your robot a problem to solve.
- Put your story in order.
- Help your robot get home in the rain.
Your child will try a new challenge to show how they can use what they have practised.
Your child will create something of their own.
My picture story
Your child will draw their own ending and tell you how it solves the robot’s problem. You can bring their story to life with toys or drawings.
You’ll be able to download their written record and see their progress in your family space.
